The client's need was to create a space that alternated different finishes, designing an image that blended with the beauty of the landscape. Therefore, after sifting through different options, the client opted for the combination of GRF System and Pedestal System. The best solution for such a project! It offers the possibility of laying floor with complete freedom, by combining completely different floor finishes.
The grid-laying system combines the stability of the Pedestal supports and the flexibility and security of modular grids for laying slabs and other finishes.
Two different systems are placed side by side according to requirements, preferring simplicity and quick installation in some parts of the floor and robustness and freestanding installation in others. The terrace floor is covered with ceramic slabs that enhance the framed pool. A small green area has been created next to the terrace paving, enhancing the surroundings.
Eterno SE Supports were used for the project and emerged as the world's first solution capable of countering the slope of the laying surfaces. This is achieved by the tilting movement of the head, which compensates for slopes of up to 5 percent. In addition, given the design requirements, the Star.T substrate was used, as it can adjust its height from 10 mm up to 30 mm and can elevate any type of ceramic, concrete or composite floor tiles of any size and weight. The millimeter adjustment of Star.T makes it possible to achieve elegant and perfectly level floors, reducing the laying time and giving stability and precision to the whole pavement.
The simplicity and speed of installation make pleasant the result, not only for the customer, but also for theinstallers. A "dry" system, which not require the use of glues and/or other chemicals, creating a perfectly level surface.
It is essential, due to the presence of a swimming pool, the advantages in terms of water stagnation offered by the drainage system . In addition, the structure is easily removable, thus allowing complete accessibility to the underlying piping, allowing maintenance and control of the facilities.
