The precious contest of the Swiss Alps and the suggestive naturalistic atmosphere provide an unforgettable setting for the wonderful rooftop with swimming pool of a big villa.
The GRF System was chosen for this striking project, which makes the terrace an integral part of the surrounding landscape. An optimal solution for this pool deck, both structurally and aesthetically.
The project required achieving different and very high heights. In this regard, the client chose supports from the Pedestal Prime® line, which with only three products, PR1, PR2 and PR3, covers all heights between 30 mm and 420 mm. The extension for great heights is useful in case of heights above 420 mm, an element that easily fits between the "integrated extension" and the screw, adaptable to PR3 support. With this solutio is possible to reach heights up to 945 mm can be reached by overlapping 3 extensions on top of PR3 supports.
In this realization the solution is glaring in the part close to the pool edge where really high heights were achieved thanks to the use of PR3 supports and the addition of 3 extensions for great heights. Thanks to the stability and strenght of these supports, it was possible to create a project that installed directly on the underlying mantle (the floor can rest on any subfloor), and, thanks to the solution created by Eterno Ivica, there was no need to devise alternatives. A great idea to make this project unique and unforgettable.
As mentioned, the GRF System was chosen for the project, so you could exploit the anti-fall function of the porcelain slabs, which is useful in this context with extremely high heights, with the aim of increasing the safety of the structure. The solid structure created by the grids creates a stable, uniform and level surface that allows free laying of finishing elements.
This choice present clear advantages:
- The edge of the pool is enhanced by this solution, in fact, the GRF System is a drainage system that prevents the formation of water stagnation.
- Outdoor raised floor of this type allows complete accessibility to the systems that are covered by the floor. Slabs and grates can be raised by directly accessing to the plant system without having to remove the entire structure.
