Designers and architects are paying more and more attention to the acoustic comfort of work environments and in general, we are realizing how essential it is to have good acoustics in meeting rooms, open spaces, and coworking. Everything has been further highlighted during this particular period in which we very often find ourselves making continuous calls and video calls.
"Icare", a company specialized in ophthalmic technology, asked us to find a precise solution to the noise levels within their offices and meeting rooms located on the 9th floor of the Centervue of Padua in Via S.Marco 9H.
We installed the Phonolook panels in 3 rooms. For all the solutions, Quadro Solution panels 1200 mm x 1200 mm were chosen with a wooden frame and covered with KING-L fabric in different colours that perfectly match the environment in which they are inserted.
This project is an example of the versatility that the Phonolook range can offer in terms of installation methods. In the first room, it was decided to increase the sound absorption surface on both sides by installing the 9 panels suspended from the ceiling using the special plasticized steel kit. The fabric was chosen in acid green and soft gray colour variants with the intention of giving light to the environment and to create the perfect match with the existing furniture such as chairs and desks.
In the other two rooms, since they are smaller, 6 and 4 Quadro panels have been set up to adhere to the wall using a magnet kit. Even in these installations it was possible to play with colours ranging from shades of light dove gray and bright red that reflect the nuances of the lamps installed in suspension. This play of colours and the staggered hanging panels make the environment particularly pleasant and well-kept.
An extremely satisfactory result not only for the acoustic quality obtained: the Phonolook panels, with their countless standard and tailor-made solutions, are compatible with any stylistic context and can make significant contributions in terms of aesthetic performance, giving all installations a perceptible character of modernity, innovation and design.
